SESC Winter Learning Series: The Connected Teacher

We are excited to bring back the Connected Teacher training we offered last summer! Our new Winter Learning Series begins on February 5th! Teaching has never required more heart, resilience, or emotional energy. This 8-week series is designed to support you as a person first and a teacher second, so you can show up grounded, compassionate, and strong in 2026. You’ll gain practical tools to use in real time, even in tough classrooms, long days, or difficult seasons.

This professional development will only be available online. That means you can learn comfortably from home! Sessions will be held on Thursdays from 4 pm to 5 pm starting February 5, 2026.

Please use this link to register:  https://forms.gle/qSsAKn5Y3PyFbqn29

Registered participants will receive a digital workbook they can print or use digitally (with Adobe or another PDF editing program) to take notes and access key information from each session.

Hello 3rd and 5th grade educators!

The Utah Valley Center for Constitutional Studies Civic Thought & Leadership Initiative, in partnership with the Southeast Education Service Center (SESC), is proud to announce our next On-site Civics at the USU Moab campus in Moab, Utah, on Friday, March 20, 2026.

There is no cost for you to attend, and participating teachers will receive:

  • A historical atlas

  • All materials, handouts, and graphic organizers needed to teach these concepts

  • .5 MIDAS credit
